Hermann Sievers was born on June 8, 1884. One of the main landscape and marine painters of his time, working in Hamburg-Alton. He led a reclusive life and was the last inhabitant of Neuenkirchen.
He is primarily known as an amazing landscape painter who loves to paint market scenes and landscapes. Many of his works are now kept in German museums and private collections. Also, the online sale of paintings by Herman Sievers is launched in the Rios Art Gallery.
