Lorenz Heirich Petersen (1805 – 1895)

Lawrence-Heinrich Peterson is an Estonian artist with Scandinavian roots. Came to Talin from Copenhagen in 1935 at the age of 30. Initially, he worked as a portrait painter and teacher of drawing and painting. He opened his own art shop in Tallinn ten years later.
He began to publish his own lithographs from 1846 with views of Tallinn. Some of the works he painted with his own hand, but often he used a tinted coating. He mainly painted panoramas with detailed transfer of Tallinn landscapes, ports and the sea.
