Graduated from the St. Petersburg School of Art in 1913 – studios of N.Roerich, I.Bilibin and A. Rylov. From 1926 to 1930 Peet Aren had been teaching at the “Pallas” Art School. Emigrated in 1944 to Germany, then the U.S.A. Died in New York. At the end
of the 1910s and in the 1920s influenced by the Expressionism that can been seen in this design of a book-cover, too. P.Aren has designed a lot of books.
