Cecilia von Gegerfelt was born on June 5, 1885 in Boulogne-sur-Seine, France, died on October 8, 1971 in Stockholm, was a Swedish artist (painter
Gegerfelt studied art in Dresden in 1901-1902 and at the Danish Academy of Arts in 1902-1906, with Karl Wilhelmson in 1906-1908, and during study trips to Italy. Her art consists of landscape motifs in oil or watercolors. She painted street motives, the busy streets of Paris, Rome and Venice. Among Swedish motives, she mainly depicted various views of Halland Vedero and Torekov. The artist’s works are presented at the National Museum of Sweden.
