Henn Roode began his studies at the Tartu Art Institute and continued as a student of the Tallinn Applied Arts Institute. In 1949 he was arrested. He finally graduated from the Institute in 1959.
Henn Roode is one of the most interesting representatives of Estonian art. He gained popularity not only among specialists, but with connoisseurs as well.
