Kapits is a relatively unknown Soviet artist whose quality surpasses his reputation Born in Novoe Chervische, in the Minsk region, hi worked in the portrait studio Linizo from 1938 to 1941 and 1946 to 1948. He was an active exhibiting artist Leningrad by 1944.
