The artist was born in Neumark, Lüllichaus, Germany. Studied under Otto Nagel in Berlin and – Joan Mirro in Spain and Paris. He became one of the first “new expressionists” of West Germany and was close to the
Hippy movement in 1960-1970. The collections of his works are in many German museums.
