The Belgian landscape painter Mareels received his art education from the Brussels Academy of Arts (1911-14), then in the studio of Hermann Richet (1918-19). He painted landscapes of Kempten and Brittany. The works of Maurice Mareels are in the exposition of Brussels, Kent, Cairo, Kaunas, etc. Art museums.
