He studied at the branch of the Moscow Institute of Technology at the Faculty of Fashion Design.

The painter Grigory Nemtsov, one of the organizers of the association of Tosno artists “Zone-6” (1990 – 2004), who acted as a writer, the author of the idea of a world artist’s day on Michelangelo’s birthday, is a far from controversial figure on the art scene in Tosno.

Each exhibition has always attracted great interest from the press. Articles were published in the St. Petersburg newspapers Smena, Pyatnitsa, Vecherniy Petersburg, Anichkov Most, Vesti, the Estonian newspaper Gallery, newspapers in Kazakhstan, Australia, Indonesia, three times in the St. Petersburg magazine Neva, invariably in “Tosnensky Vestnik” and other media.

The paintings are in the Museum of History and Local Lore in Tosno, gallery “Alexander” in Werth, Australia, in private collections in more than 25 countries of the world.
