Boris Ninemae’s years of artistic education in Estonia became short-lived. The process was interrupted by war and emigration.
In exile, the artist continues his studies and improves himself during study trips to Finland, Denmark, Norway, Austria, Germany, Italy, France and the USA.
With great love, the artist painted motifs from Estonian life, borrowed from the lives of ordinary people, with their daily work, activities and moments of relaxation.
His personal exhibitions were held in many cities in Sweden and Norway: Malmo, Vähjo, Karlshamn, Larvik, Elverum, Stockholm. Ninemäe’s works are found in various foreign collections.
