Raimo Saare studied at Tartu State Art Institute from 1947, graduated from ERKI in 1953. In 1953-1954, he worked as an artist in the Tartu Cultural Center and in 1954-1967 in the Tartu Department of the Art Fund, and in 1967-1992 as a painting teacher in Tartu Art School. Member of the Union of Artists since 1963.
