Folder from the collection of the Olev Soans family. Folder No.9. Printed 20 copies of the ESSR in the experimental studio of the Art Fund of the Estonian SSR. The folder was ordered for the 100th anniversary of the Mahtra War. Olev Soans graduated in 1941, in Pärnu vocational school. In 1943-1944 he was mobilized in the German army. In 1946 he entered the Tallinn State Institute of Decorative and Applied Arts, graduated in 1951. Then he worked as a freelance artist at the State Art Institute. Since 1961, the head of the department is in the same place: since 1979 an assistant professor, since 1987 a professor, since 1994 an honorary professor. Since 1951, a member of the Union of Estonian Artists.
