Jan Tuuling graduated from the Estonian State Institute of Art in 1961 with a degree in painter. He worked as a drawing teacher at an Art School in Tallinn, as well as a poster artist. Jan Tuuling was a member of the Estonian Artists’ Union. He took part in many exhibitions both in Estonia and abroad. His works are highly regarded and are found mainly in private collections around the world: in Sweden, Switzerland, Russia, France, Finland and the USA.
