Helga Viilup graduated from Tallinn School of Applied Art in 1942, where she studied textiles and fashion. From 1944 she worked in the textile workshop of the art factory “ARS”, also worked as a graphic designer. A since 1957 Member of the Artists’ Union. Since 1974 she has been working in watercolor. Her works were distinguished by good technique and pictorial emotionality.
