Voerahansu Johannes initial art education has received in A.Lajkmaa’s studio. With 1932-1936 studied at Art School “Pallas”, in A.Vabbe’s studio. Since 1940 is engaged in teaching activity. Very much loved island of Saaremaa and frequently represented him in the pictures.
